room2move is a unique health studio offering you a wide range of classes to satisfy people with all levels of experience, ability and enthusiasm. Our teachers and Osteopaths are an experienced team trained to international standards and dedicated to your individual needs.

IYENGAR YOGA
The yoga class emphasises precise instructions to bring about correct postural alignment, increased flexibility, tone and strength. Props are used to help all participants work correctly within their current body limitations. This is yoga to help improve flexibility and overall strength.

HATHA YOGA
Hatha is one of the most popular styles of yoga. It focuses on simple poses that flow from one to the other at a comfortable pace. The class focuses on breathing, meditation, endurance and flexibilty. A perfect class for strengthening the body, improving suppleness and relaxing the mind.

ASHTANGA YOGA
Is a dynamic form of yoga which has a focus on ‘Vinyasa’ the ‘intelligent putting together of things’. It’s purpose is to create heat in the body, which leads to purification of the body through increased circulation and sweating. It improves flexibility with a reduced risk of injury.

BEGINNERS PILATES
Maximum 12 per class. Pilates is an exercise session in body awareness. In order to create any real change in your body. It’s important to understand not only the movements involved in the exercises, but also the principles that transform these exercises into a restorative body and mind workout. Pilates will help your body through 6 essential principles including
1) Focus and concentration
2) Co-ordination
3) Breathing
4) Control and precision
5) Flow of movement
6) Centering

ADVANCED PILATES
Using the unique characteristics of the swissball, this class will challenge your core group of muscles. For people of all fitness levels, exercises can be modified to suit a variety of people. You will develop tone, strength and flexibility by using the ball to stabilise your body. Areas specifically targeted include postural muscles in your body.

PILATES - Individualised
Maximum 4 per class, for people with injuries or pregnant needing individualised programs and attention. All movements are practised with control, concentration, precision and flow. Each person will undergo an individual assessment with the teacher prior to commencing this course.

STRETCH
An effective class helping you restore symmetry and balance to your body, improve flexibility and suppleness. Challenge your body and get back the mobility you once had. Ideal for anyone who needs to rid their body of stiffness and has lost range of motion in any part of their body due to muscle tightness.

POSTURE
Suitable for everyone that suffers from poor posture. We will save you from careless body stress which occurs during daily activities and forces joints into unnatural positions. Good posture requires a lifetime commitment on your behalf. Poor posture places unnecessary pressure on all your organs so breathe easier and enrol today.

REHABILITATION
Taken by Osteopaths to ensure effective and safe rehabilitative exercises are prescribed for anyone with an injury or post surgery. Combines a variety of exercises and props specific to individual requirements.

PREGNANCY
Safe and effective exercises suitable from 0-9 months for all mums to be. All exercises are carefully planned and monitored by Osteopaths. Classes are fun and beneficial, providing positive psychological and physiological benefits.

MOTHER & BABY
Bounce back into shape after baby. Mothers are recommended to start exercising 6 weeks after the birth with gradual exercises that restore strength to the pelvis, abdomen and low back. Taught by Osteopaths, emphasis is also placed on posture and baby handling to prevent injury and strain on new mums. Babies welcome and involved so no need to find a baby sitter.
